Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups Oaxaca cheese shredded
  • 1 cup crispy chopped bacon
  • 2 jalapeños diced

Coating

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain bread crumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and mix until smooth. Add chopped bacon and shredded cheese; continue to mix until well combined. Add diced jalapeño and mix to combine.

  • Scoop mixture with a spoon, ice cream scooper, or meatball maker to form balls and set aside.

Breading Jalapeño Popper Cheese Bites

  • You will need 3 separate bowls to prepare your breading when ready to fry. Crack the eggs into the first bowl; whisk and set aside. Add flour to the second bowl and set aside. Lastly, add bread crumbs, paprika, and salt to the third bowl and mix to combine.
    2 eggs, 1 cup plain bread crumbs, ½ cup all-purpose flour, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp paprika
  • Step 1: Dip each ball into flour to coat.
  • Step 2: Dip the floured ball into the egg to coat.
  • Step 3: Roll the egg-covered ball through the bread crumbs to coat.
  • Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for a second coat.
  • Heat your frying oil and deep fry for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
