How to make this recipe

Combine your ingredients in a stand mixer mixing bowl. Beat your cream cheese, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground black pepper until smooth. Add cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, minced Jalapeño, and chopped green onions. Mix until everything is well incorporated and smooth.

Form your cheese ball. Scoop your jalapeño popper mix onto two overlapped pieces of plastic wrap and form a ball using your hands. Refrigerate for at least two hours to firm.

Roll your cheese ball. Combine reserved ingredients (1/3 cup cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup chopped bacon, half of the minced Jalapeños, and half of the chopped green onions) in a plate and roll your cheese ball to coat. Enjoy with Ritz crackers.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese soften
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped bacon reserve 1/3 cup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese reserve 1/3 cup
  • 2 chopped green onions reserve half
  • 2 minced alapeños reserve half
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, set it on medium speed, and beat your cream cheese, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground black pepper until smooth.

  • Add 2/3 cup cheddar cheese, 2/3 cup chopped bacon, half of the minced Jalapeño, and half of your chopped green onions. Reserve the remaining ingredients in refrigerator for later (1/3 cup cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup chopped bacon, half of the minced Jalapeños, and half of the chopped green onions). Mix for about 1 minute on low until everything is well incorporated and smooth.

  • Lay two pieces of plastic wrap overlapping to form a T and scoop your Jalapeño popper cheese mixture onto the center. Bring up each side of the plastic wrap and begin to shape it into a ball using your hands. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm.
  • When ready to serve, combine reserved ingredients (1/3 cup cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup chopped bacon, half of the minced Jalapeños, and half of the chopped green onions) in a plate and roll your cheese ball to coat. Enjoy with Ritz crackers.
