Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 oz unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp milk

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter together, for about two minutes or until the mixture is pale and completely smooth.

  • Slowly sift in the powdered sugar. Start mixing on low speed to avoid a sugar cloud. Once most of the sugar is mixed in, increase the speed to medium-high to make the frosting fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and milk. Beat for another minute until the frosting is light, airy, and forms soft peaks.
    2 cups powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tsp milk

Notes

Since this frosting has a lot of dairy, store any frosted desserts in the fridge. Chilling will make the frosting a bit firmer and easier to slice.
